My name is Caroline Gillies. I’m a registered dietitian, mum to two beauties and wife to an English gentleman I happened to find on the top of a mountain in rural Africa.
I was born and brought up in South Africa; after graduating from the University of Cape Town I made my way across to this small isle in 2009 to begin my career as a dietitian. London became my home and the NHS my employer. Here I worked as a community dietitian and gained invaluable experience helping patients with a variety of clinical conditions and dietary requirements.
Fast forward 8 years and I find myself in Oxfordshire, determined to achieve that work-life balance so I opened up my own private dietetic practice. I love my job as I get to share my love and passion for good food and am committed to helping others enjoy the benefit of good health.
